Holton earned a Master’s degree in the Humanities and Writing from Kean University, Union, NJ and has taught in the English and Journalism departments at two New Jersey colleges. She has previously worked as an editor for the Specialty Publications Division of the Record of Bergen County, NJ. she previously was a docent in the historic 1900 century waterloo village.
